Scholarly Lectures and Writings:
- I have appeared as a guest speaker at the Waikiki Community Center and for the Lupus Foundation, and I am a regular guest on the local access "Post Polio and You" televison show. I have put on a number of educational seminars for the general public; the last ones were in Kona and Hilo in March 2011 and had more than 150 attendees. The next scheduled events will be at various locations in Oahu. I was a speaker at the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives convention in May 2010. This is a group consisting mainly of attorneys who specialize in Social Security and SSI disability cases. There was a follow up article printed in the organizations monthly publication in July 2010. I continue to publish a monthly Social Security newletters for interested professionals including lawyers, physicians, vocational rehablilitation specialists and the like.
