Geoff Hamilton practices Family Law throughout the State of Hawaii. In 2010 Best Lawyers in America named him its 2011 Honolulu Family Lawyer of the Year. In addition, he is a twice elected past chair of the Family Law Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association, is a certified fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and has been listed in every edition of Best Lawyers in America since the first edition in 1983, 28 years ago. He co-authored and co-presented Why is My Client Nuts?... An Inquiry into the Psychodynamics of Divorce, presented in various forms to three annual ABA meetings, and Relocation Issues, presented to a fourth annual meeting. He is also an editor of the Child Custody section of the Hawaii Divorce Manual. He graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1968. His family law practice is supported by two associate attorneys, Jennifer Chan and Kara Moran.
