Gary I. Amendola is one of the managing partners of Amendola & Doty, PLLC, located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He primarily handles criminal law and family law cases, including major felonies, sex crimes, driving under the influence (DUI), divorce, child custody and agreement modifications. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court of Idaho, United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit. He is also a certified criminal trial law specialist in northern Idaho.

Mr. Amendola received his J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1979 and began his legal career as a partner of a law firm in Sitka, Alaska. In 1982, he became the assistant attorney general for the state of Alaska. He moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1995, where he worked as a public defender for the Kootenai County Court. After a time, he joined the Walker Rines & Amendola Law Firm as a partner, which became Amendola & Doty, PLLC, in 2001.

In addition to his legal career, Mr. Amendola is a dedicated father of two children and enjoys playing golf.
