U.S., 130 S.Ct. 3543 (GVR 2010 –vacating mail/wire fraud "honest services" convictions); U.S. v. Lee, 558 F.3d 638 (7th Cir. 2009) (reversing money laundering/ custodial sentence vacated, probation on remand); People v. Hernandez, 231 Ill.2d 134 (2008)(murder solicitation reversed based on attorney-conflict of interest – on post conviction); People v. Benner, App. No. 2-12-1028 (pending post conviction appeal where issues include absence of judge during offers of proof and exclusion of polygraph evidence); People v. Gouskos, 09 CR 14565 (post-trial motion resulted in significant sentence reduction, appeal pending, 1-13-1827); People v. Miner, 10 CF 56 (Iroquois County) (on 8/2/12 multiple felony weapon, et seq., dismissed after extensive pretrial filings); People v. Brown, 839 N.E.2d 596 (1st Dist. 2006) (after unsuccessful direct appeal, P.C. relief granted on 2/17/09 based on ineffective trial counsel – 15 year sentence vacated/defendant released); People v. Smith (after 10 years of litigation concerning defendant's failure to return to prison after unsuccessful direct appeal, on 9/16/09, P.C. relief granted an defendant pardoned by Governor Quinn).
