An SDF partner since 1997, Anita finds smart solutions to complex family law matters by developing proactive strategies tailored to each client’s needs.  Anita utilizes her analytical skills to master finances for an optimum position in trial or settlement for high-net-worth clients.  Anita’s peers respect her courtroom results and recommended her for inclusion in Naifeh and Smith's Best Lawyers in America, the Leading Lawyers Network and Illinois Super Lawyers.  Anita was named one of the top 10 women lawers in Illinois divorce by Leading Lawyers Network.  The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin named Anita to Forty Under 40 Illinois Attorneys to Watch.  She is a Past Chair and member of the Board of the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute as well as a faculty member. She has served on the governing council, the Publications Board, the Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Long-Range Planning Committee, and formerly chaired the Domestic Violence/Family Abuse Committee and Ethics Committees.  Ms. Ventrelli is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a member of the Board of Managers of the Illinois Chapter. Ms Ventrelli was named Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year by the Illinois State Bar Association in 2001, where she served on the Family Law Section Council, chaired the Minority and Women Participation Committee, was a member of the Special Committee on Women and the Law, and served on the Judicial Evaluation Committee. Ms. Ventrelli has lectured on family law topics for the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and community groups.
