Profile

Since the inception of her legal career, Ms. Carder has focused her practice primarily on domestic relations matters and concentrates in the areas of complex financial litigation and child custody. Ms. Carder received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois and is a graduate of the DePaul University College of Law. In 2007 and 2008, Ms. Carder was selected by the Leading Lawyer Network as a Leading Lawyer in Illinois. She has also been named a 2008 Illinois Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers. Ms. Carder is a published author on family law issues and was a member of the committee responsible for redrafting the DuPage County local court rules which govern domestic relations cases. Ms. Carder is currently the Third Vice President of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers and is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and local bar associations for Will, Kane, and DuPage counties.
