Elliot R. Schiff is a founding partner of the Chicago-based law firm of Schiff, Gorman & Krkljes. As an attorney, Mr. Schiff is best known for representing plaintiffs who have been harmed by legal malpractice, breaches of fiduciary duties by brokers and accountants, and by other types of ethical misconduct involving professional services rendered. Mr. Schiff also represents people who have been injured or lost loved ones in trucking accidents and other transportation-related collisions.
Mr. Schiff has twice been recognized by The National Law Journal for trial results, once selecting a verdict he secured as one of the 10 best of the year. He is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, a trial lawyer honorary society representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. He has also maintained Martindale-Hubbell's *AV peer-review rating for the last 25 years.
While the majority of Mr. Schiff's practice is in the Chicagoland area, he has represented clients throughout the state of Illinois, as well as in the states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Indiana.
