Profile
After joining Schiller DuCanto and Fleck LLP in 1995 as a law clerk, Mr. Schulman became an associate in 1997 and was elected partner in 2004. He graduated from The John Marshall Law School cum laude, where he was a member of and published in The John Marshall Law Review. He is a former Family Law Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and previously served as a member of the Judicial Evaluation Committee for the Chicago Bar Association. He lectures in the areas of family law and has taught classes on Illinois divorce law for the College of Lake County. In August, 2006, he was named a "Leading Lawyer" in the practice of Illinois family law by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company and in 2007 was chosen as one of the "40 Attorneys Under 40 in Illinois to Watch". He has served as a guest lecturer at Loyola University School of Law. He was also named a "Rising Star" Illinois attorney by Chicago Magazine and one of the Nation's Leading Matrimonial Lawyers in Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Schulman is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
