EVAN D. WHITFIELD is an attorney whose practice is limited to the domestic relations area.  He began his career at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP in 2008 as a law clerk.  In 2009, he became an associate with the firm after receiving a Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University, College of Law.  While at DePaul, Mr. Whitfield focused his study on matrimonial law matters, earning a certificate in family law.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Whitfield played professional soccer in Europe and in Major League Soccer for the Chicago Fire.  As a member of the United States Olympic Team, he helped the United States to a fourth place finish in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.  Mr. Whitfield concentrates his practice on litigation of complex family law matters, including finance, child custody and paternity.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association.
