I have been representing plaintiffs in personal injury, legal, medical and other professional malpractice cases for over 40 years. I also represent plaintiffs and defendants in business litigation. I have  represented lawyers in disciplinary matters and have been retained as an expert witness in legal malpractice cases for both plaintiff and defendant. I practice in Illinois and Missouri in all state and Federal courts.In 2007 I was awarded the University of Illinois, College of Law, Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Fellows of the Illinois Bar Foundation: Fellows Award for Distinguished Service to Law and Society.I chaired the ABA GP, Solo & Small Firm Division in 2001-2002. I served in the ABA House of Delegates in 1989 -1994, 1995 - 1999. I served on the Board of Governors of the Illinois State Bar Association in 1981 to 1983, 1987 - 1994. I have served as the small firm liaison to the ABA Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Small Firm Liaison since 2007 and chaired the ISBA Committee on Professsional Conduct.I have lectured for the Illinois State Bar Association; the Missouri Bar, the ABA, ITLA and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis on the subjects of civil practice, torts, ethics and avoiding malpractice.
