Jamie M. Trapp is the founder and principal attorney of Jamie M. Trapp & Associates, a Chicago-based personal injury firm. As a personal injury lawyer, he has represented plaintiffs statewide in cases involving auto accidents, medical malpractice, unsafe products, construction accidents and other injuries caused by the negligence of others. Due to his perseverance and superb trial skills, he has won several million and multimillion dollar verdicts and settlements on his clients' behalf.

Mr. Trapp is an AV-rated* attorney and has been selected by his peers as an Illinois Super Lawyer each year since 2006. An active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, he has served as the seminar planning chairman and received the "President's Award" in 2002 for his dedication and service to the organization. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.

A lifelong Chicago native, Mr. Trapp graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 1981. He is currently licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Illinois, as well as the U.S. District Court of Illinois, Northern District.
