Jennifer Dillon Kotz is a partner at Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP who has been litigating family law cases for more than 12 years.  Her ability to navigate successfully through financially challenging issues and child custody related matters sets her apart from other attorneys in her field.

Ms. Kotz has received extensive recognition for her litigation and settlement skills.  In 2005, Ms. Kotz was elected partner at her firm and, in 2006, she was selected one of the “40 Under 40 Illinois Attorneys to Watch” by the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.  In 2008 she was inducted into the Leading Lawyers Network of Top Family Law Lawyers and in 2009 was listed as a  "Rising Star" by Illinois Super Lawyers magazine.  She has also been recognized in Leading Lawyers Top 100 Women Lawyers in Illinois; as a Top Lawyer in Illinois (2011), as published in West Suburban Living and in Top Lawyers in Illinois as published in Crain’s Chicago Business (2011); as well as receiving the cognition of Top Lawyer Leading Women Lawyers (2009) as published in Chicago Lawyer

Ms. Kotz obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Bucknell University (1992) and her Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (1998), after transferring in her second year from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she was a member of the Pepperdine Law Review. 

Ms. Kotz is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and is a past Chair of the CBA Young Lawyers Division, Family Law Committee. Ms. Kotz has lectured on family law topics for the IICLE, the Chicago Bar Association, and the DePaul Law Society.
