John J. O'Gara, Jr. concentrates his practice on criminal defense, major state and federal felony cases, and white collar criminal defense. Mr. O'Gara has tried capital and murder cases throughout Illinois. John has also represented the accused in United States District Court and the United States Court of Appeals in federal capital cases; white collar, highly publicized public corruption charges; and complex drug and weapon conspiracy cases. Mr. O'Gara has frequently been featured as a lecturer and faculty member in seminars and workshops on state and federal criminal trial issues. John recently served as the President of the St. Clair County Bar Association, and as head coach for the West End Khoury League Pixie 2 girl's softball team.
