Pro bono/Community Service:

• Mr. Bartolic represents a death row inmate in Alabama in post–conviction proceedings. He has raised arguments, and presented evidence at a formal hearing, showing that the inmate received ineffective assistance of counsel at his pre–conviction trial and sentencing. Had he received even minimally effective assistance of counsel, the inmate would have either been found not guilty by reason of insanity due to his PTSD with episodes of disassociation, or the Court would have sentenced him to life imprisonment, rather than the death penalty.
