Michael R. Botti earned his Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Michigan State University. After graduating from Michigan State University, Michael worked as an assistant state's attorney in DuPage County where he earned a reputation as a thorough and skillful trial attorney. By the time Michael left the State's Attorney's Office, he was a second chair felony assistant and had tried hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases before Illinois judges and juries. In 2005, he joined the Botti Law Firm, while continuing to focus his practice on criminal law in both federal and state courts. In the relatively short time since, Michael Botti has quickly gained a reputation as an innovative civil litigator for personal injury and family law-related matters.
Michael Botti is the attorney for the Illinois State Crime Commission, and in 2008, received a Bishop Sheil Award for his efforts to make a difference in the community. As a lawyer, Michael has also been included on the American Trial Lawyers Association's list of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Illinois for 2010.
