Patrick T. Ryan began his career at Schiller DuCanto and Fleck LLP in 2003 as a law clerk, and became an associate in 2005. He received his Bachelor of Science in 2002 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, in 2005 from DePaul University College of Law, where he focused his studies in Family Law. During his undergraduate experience at the University of Illinois, Mr. Ryan spent a year working for the Champaign County State's Attorney in the area of juvenile abuse and neglect.
While at DePaul, Mr. Ryan spent a semester teaching Street Law, a course aimed at teaching the fundamentals of the American legal system to high school students, and also spent a year as a clerk in the Office of the Honorable Moshe Jacobius, Presiding Judge, Domestic Division, Cook County Illinois, during which he assisted several judges in the Domestic Relations Division with legal research and draft opinions and orders.
Mr. Ryan concentrates his practice on litigation of complex family law matters, including finance and child custody. Mr. Ryan is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Hispanic Lawyers' Association of Illinois, and the American Bar Association.
