Honors and Awards:

• His recognition within the legal community includes additional honors of being a member of the Leading Lawyers Network, a division of Law Bulletin Publishing Company recognizing “the most respected and experienced lawyers” as recommended by other attorneys. Mr. Aleksy has also been listed in Best Lawyers in America, "the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession." Martindale-Hubbell,  "the authoritative resource for information on the worldwide legal profession," has rated Mr. Aleksy AV® (very high to preeminent) for both legal ability and professional ethics. 

Bar/Professional Activity:

• A respected leader in his field of legal practice, Mr. Aleksy has served as president and director of the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association, and is an active member of the organization today. He is also a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Among his many other professional involvements, he has authored "IICLE Mastering Workers' Compensation in Illinois; The Process, The Procedure," and he has participated in numerous seminars as a presenter and member of panel discussions.

Educational Background:

• After serving four years in the Air Force, Mr. Aleksy earned his Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, and received his Juris doctorate from the John Marshall Law School. He was admitted to the Illinois bar and the Federal Court in the Northern District of Illinois in 1976.
