Bill Chittenden, a founding member of Chittenden, Murday & Novotny, LLC, has more than 28 years of litigation, trial, and appellate experience in state and federal courts and regulatory agencies in Illinois and throughout the country. Through his extensive representation of clients in the financial services, managed health care, and manufacturing industries, he has developed expertise in a broad range of substantive areas of law affecting these industries and the regulatory environments in which they operate. Mr. Chittenden is a member of the Society of Trial Lawyers, Defense Research Institute, Association of Life Insurance Counsel, Lawyers Club of Chicago and the American Bar Association (Committees on Commercial Litigation, Life, Health & Disability Law). He has authored significant articles and treatises, and lectured, on a variety of litigation-related issues.

He has been a member of the Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois since 1987.
