This experience has included cases of birth injury resulting from negligent care, delayed diagnosis or misdiagnosis of cancer, wrongful death claims, vascular surgery malpractice, retained foreign bodies, nursing home negligence and surgical errors, to name a few.

Ms. Gilchrist has also acted as a medical review panel chairwoman in medical negligence cases brought by other practitioners and had a medical malpractice defense practice for 10 years before practicing exclusively in the plaintiffs' arena. In short, this background has given Ms. Gilchrist a unique and valuable perspective on the entire process and has enabled her to better serve her clients in daily practice.
