Ms. Michael's practice is focused on Education Law and representation of parents throughout the state of Indiana and nationwide through local counsel. She has experience with both general and special education issues, school personal injury and/or abuse matters, Section 504 and Due Process hearings, student discipline and dismissal matters, ADA and other civil rights matters concerning children. Ms. Michael is a nationwide author and speaker, conducting numerous presentations and training programs for parents, schools and education organizations across the nation. She has appeared on many television programs ranging from Montel Williams to Indiana's local Fox59 station. Her topics include student discipline, student injury and abuse, Indiana's Article 7, the No Child Left Behind Act, Educational Due Process, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA), Section 504, other state and federal laws, and special education student issues.
