Doris L. Sweetin, litigation, trial and appellate practice in insurance defense, including general liability, products, premises,workers’ compensation and construction, as well as in business and corporate law. She is licensed to practice law both in Indiana and Ohio. Doris has successfully argued before the Court of Appeals in Ohio,as well as before the Supreme Court of Indiana. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association,and is admitted to the Ohio and Indiana Bars, the Federal District Courts of both Ohio and Indiana andthe Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Doris is very active in the Defense Research Institute (DRI), including its Trial Tactics Committee, and was the Chair for the 2010 DRI Damages Seminar. She is also active with Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana (DTCI), including serving statewide on its Board of Directors and is currently serving in her second term on its Board of Editors.  She is also a noted speaker and author on various litigation related topics. Doris is also recognized as a Top Executive by Portfolio.com and has the Mark of Distinction from A.M. Best Recommended Insurance Attorneys. Her business and personal philosophies, and especially her passion for client service, derive from years of retail management, training, and sales. Doris graduated cum laude from Wichita State University in 1988 and the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1995.
