Mr. Coots' practice emphasizes general litigation, real estate, corporate law, and planning and zoning. His representative clients include corporations, lenders, developers, and lessors, as well as individuals and families. Mr. Coots is also a certified mediator. He is a past president of the Carmel City Council, Carmel Plan Commission and Carmel Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Coots also served as Carmel City attorney in 1982-1983 and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation and the Board of Managers of the Indianapolis Bar Association. He has also served on the Board of Directors for several closely held entities. Mr. Coots graduated from the Indiana University School of Law- Indianapolis in 1969.
