• Kathleen DeLaney is a certified public arbitrator serving on the roster of public arbitrators for FINRA, an alternative dispute resolution organization supporting the financial services industry

Bar/Professional Activity:

• Kathleen DeLaney is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, and Seventh Circuit Bar Association.  She is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars.
• Kathleen DeLaney serves as Secretary of the Local Rules Advisory Committee for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.  She is a Member and past Chair of the Executive Council of the Labor & Employment Council of the Indianapolis Bar Association.  Ms. DeLaney is also a member of the Character and Fitness Committee of the Indiana Board of Law Examiners.

Pro bono/Community Service:

• Kathleen is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union.
• Ms. DeLaney is an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
• Kathleen DeLaney is a former Member of the Board of Directors of Dress for Success Indianapolis, a non-profit organization which helps women in poverty transition to the workplace.

Educational Background:

• Ms. DeLaney graduated from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with a Bachelor's of Science in Foreign Service, cum laude, in 1990.  She graduated summa cum laude from the Indiana University School of Law - Bloomington in 1995.  Her law school accomplishments also included Order of the Barristers, Order of the Coif, and Associate of the Indiana Law Journal.  Ms. DeLaney represented her law school on its National Moot Court Team, competing in both the regional and national rounds of competition. Her Note, “Response to Nannygate: Untangling U.S. Immigration Law” was published by the Indiana Law Journal in the Winter 1994 Volume.
