Bill Baten, with offices in Indianapolis and Washington, D.C., has developed a national practice resolving complex disputes across the country. Bill has mediated and arbitrated over 2,700 matters in all areas of the law and has earned a reputation as a resourceful and tenacious mediator who will not give up until the case is resolved. Bill is called upon to resolve high-stakes cases involving personal injury, commercial, employment, insurance coverage, environmental, and construction disputes, such as the Big Dig construction project in Boston. Bill serves as Vice-Chair of the ABA’s Mediation Committee and also races sports cars, winning the 50th anniversary of the prestigious June Sprints at Road America and recent races at Pocono, Mid-Ohio, and Watkins Glen.
