Attorney Douglas H. Morris represents clients from Louisville, Kentucky, and throughout the surrounding areas. He is a partner of the firm Morris & Player, where he handles cases primarily in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and product liability.
Mr. Morris is board certified by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification and has been selected for inclusion in Kentucky Super Lawyers from 2007 – 2010.
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 1976. He has obtained numerous settlements and jury awards for his clients as lead or sole trial counsel, including a settlement with the Transit Authority of River City (TARC) for $7.2 million, a settlement of $25 million for victims of clergy sexual assault against the Archdiocese of Louisville, and a settlement of $10 million against an oil refinery for a worker injured in an explosion.
