• Ellis v. Browning Pontiac-Chevrolet-GMC Truck-Geo, Inc., 125 S.W.3d 306 (Ky.App. 2003) In this case Mr. Stein successfully argued that the promptness requirement of KRS 186A.215(3) applies to all automobile title transfers including those covered by KRS 186A.220. A delay of thirty-nine days, for no stated reason, was deemed not prompt and Browning Pontiac was held to be the owner of the subject vehicle which, in turn, captured Browning Pontiac's liability insurance policy, thereby providing additional insurance proceeds to satisfy the client's claim., 2003
