Attorney Matthew W. Stein is a trial attorney located in Louisville, Kentucky. He represents clients state-wide in personal injury and wrongful death claims arising from motorcycle, car, truck and bus wrecks, professional negligence, slip and falls, industrial accidents and every other manner in which people suffer injuries and death.  He also has extensive litigation and trial experience in breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty claims as well as a wide variety of claims arising from business relationships.  Matt is currently a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate with the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Board Certified Civil Pretrial Advocate with the National Board of Civil Pretrial Practice Advocacy, a member of the Litigation Counsel of America and was voted a Kentucky Super Lawyer in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Mr. Stein received a B.S. in Agriculture from the University of Kentucky in 1985. He then studied law at the University of Louisville, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1989. Browning Pontiac-Chevrolet-GMC Truck-Geo, Inc., 125 S.W.3d 306 (Ky.App. 2003) In this case Mr. Stein successfully argued that the promptness requirement of KRS 186A.215(3) applies to all automobile title transfers including those covered by KRS 186A.220. A delay of thirty-nine days, for no stated reason, was deemed not prompt and Browning Pontiac was held to be the owner of the subject vehicle which, in turn, captured Browning Pontiac's liability insurance policy, thereby providing additional insurance proceeds to satisfy the client's claim., 2003
