Mr. Beirne is a 1993 graduate of Miami University and a 1996 graduate of Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Mr. Beirne speaks and presents regularly on medical-legal issues for health care providers and attorneys. He has successfully tried or settled numerous cases involving medical malpractice or nursing negligence in Kentucky and Ohio. He has co-counseled two of the largest medical malpractice awards in Ohio -- a $22 million verdict against Group Health Associates in Hamilton County in 2008 and a $31 million verdict against Miami Valley Hospital in Montgomery County in 2009.
