Richard D. Lawrence -- 1971 graduate with high honors from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law; licensed in Kentucky and Ohio; tried civil, plaintiff, defense, and felony cases to verdict in both jurisdictions. Since 1987, has concentrated on representing victims of negligence and medical malpractice. Authored legal and medical texts: Chapter 21, "Birth Injuries," Grady's Operative Obstetrics; Chapter 3, "Handling the Brain Injury Case." Recipient of the Peter Perlman Trial Lawyer of the Year, NKBA's Distinguished Lawyer and Lifetime Achievement Awards, AAJ's Stalwarts Recognition, President's Award, Daniel P. Cullan Memorial Award, and Wiedemann Wysocki Award. Active in KJA, AAJ, OAJ, Inner Circle of Advocates, Melvin Belli Society, and the ISOB, and is a Master in the Inn of Court.
