Trial attorney Ronald (Ronnie) G. Sheffer has been handling civil and criminal cases in the Louisville area and throughout the state of Kentucky for more than 30 years. In the criminal law side of his practice, Ronnie has served as both a prosecuting attorney and as a defense lawyer for elected officials, bankers, attorneys, company executives and other individuals charged with white collar crimes. On the civil side, he has represented a broad range of clients, including: the city of Nashville, Tennessee, in an environmental case; General Motors, in employee wrongful discharge cases; construction companies in various types of disputes; some of the nation's leading jockeys in a suit to establish a First Amendment right to wear logos on their uniforms; doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases; and the estates of coal miners killed in coal mine explosions.

Mr. Sheffer is a graduate of University of Kentucky College of Law and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Kentucky Bar Association, the Louisville Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Kentucky Academy of Hospital Attorneys, the Kentucky Defense Council and the Defense Research Institute.
