David Hesser is Board Certified as a Family Law Specialist by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. He litigates child custody, divorce, community property, grandparents’ rights, multi-state custody, alimony and all aspects of family law. He has handled multi-million dollar community property partitions. While he is known as a litigator, he has also resolved many cases through mediation and collaborative divorce  He is a trained mediator helping families to settle their dispute out of court. David heads a three attorney law firm which practices family law, offshore injury, personal injury and criminal law.  David Hesser litigates Offshore Injury cases, personal injury cases and he has a Masters of Admiralty Law from Tulane University Law School. He is a published author and speaker regarding family law, dispute resolution and admiralty law and has spoken in seminars at LSU Law Center, Loyola Univ. Law School, LSU-S, ULM and Southern University. He filed Louisiana's first successful collaborative divorce.
