Attorney Hunter W. Lundy provides quality counsel in personal injury, toxic torts and products liability law throughout the Southern United States. He is a current member of the Mississippi and Louisiana state bars, the American Association of Justice Leaders Forum and the Louisiana Association for Justice.
Following his graduation from the Mississippi College School of Law in 1980 and a clerkship with Walter Nixon Jr., U.S. District Judge in Biloxi, Hunter founded his own firm, Lundy, Lundy Soileau & South, LLP. He then went on to try a number of highly publicized cases, including the 1991 defamation of television preacher Marvin Gorman.
From 1999 to 2002, Hunter served as lead counsel for more than 9,000 persons suffering the effects of toxic chemicals emitted from nearby wood-preserving plants. In 2008, he successfully tried an oil reservoir damage case that garnered a multimillion-dollar verdict for the plaintiff. Hunter has received an AV* peer review rating, the highest awarded by Martindale-Hubbell.
*AV Preeminent and BV Distinguished are certification marks of Reed Elsevier Properties Inc., used in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies.
