Philip Kobetz is well known for handling contested divorce, child custody and community property cases. His practice began in 1980, representing individuals in automobile and motorcycle personal injury, offshore, and medical malpractice cases, areas in which he still maintains an active trial practice. He attributes much of his success in the family law arena to the trial experience that he gained in his personal injury litigation practice, and to his personal family experience as a father of three children. He has been Board Certified as a family law specialist by the state bar association since its first testing in 1995.
