Profile

Rick Simmons (J.D., LSU Law Center; L.L.M. in Environmental Law, George Washington Law Center) specializes in complex criminal and civil litigation. He has both prosecuted and defended high-profile criminal cases. His civil practice includes internal corporate investigations, professional malpractice, and employment, environmental, and insurance matters. He formerly served as Chief of the Civil Division and, later, as Chief of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Orleans. He is a retired Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army JAG Corps and is now a Managing Partner of Hailey, McNamara, which has offices in Metairie, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Gulfport.
