Ellsworth Rundlett's practice emphasizes personal injury litigation for plaintiffs, divorce, and civil litigation. He has been Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1991. He graduated from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine, in 1968 and from the University of Maine School of Law in 1973. Mr. Rundlett was selected for publication in the following issues: New England Super Lawyers 2006, 2008; Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiffs' Lawyers in the United States, 2004. Mr. Rundlett is the author of a book, published in 1991 by the James Publishing Company, entitled "Maximizing Damages in Personal Injury Cases". This book is now in its 18th printing. Mr. Rundlett has also authored numerous articles including "Negotiating a Personal Injury Claim," published by Trial Magazine, chapters in the "Insurance Settlements Handbook," and has made contributions to the "Insurance Settlements Journal." He is the Past President of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and also past president of the Cumberland County Bar Association. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Maine State Bar Association and is presently on the board of Governors for the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and has been since 1991. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was one of Maine's delegates to the American Association for Justice. He has lectured throughout the country to various trial lawyer organizations including the Indiana Trial Lawyers Annual Institute, the New Jersey Trial Lawyers, the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers, and the Kansas Trial Lawyers. A few of his lectures include "Winning in Court", "Settling Cases in the New Millenium", "Achieving Maximum Recovery in Personal Injury Cases", "Cases I Never should have taken, but won" as well as "Successful Negotiating Techniques for Personal Injury Cases." He is a member of the faculty of the Maine College of Advocacy and is the subject of biographical reference in Who's Who in American Law. Mr. Rundlett has been co-host of a local television show entitled "Law on the Line" since 1999. In 2010 Lawdragon Magazine included him in a list of 3,200 finalists for the LawDragon 500 - the top 500 attorneys in the country.

Verdicts and Settlements:
- Mr. Rundlett has had a significant number of jury verdicts ranging from five figure judgments to hundreds of thousands in amounts. He has settled several million dollars worth of cases in his career including settlements of a million dollars. In one year he and co-counsel had a verdict that was the largest soft tissue verdict in the state at the time. His vedicts have most consistently been in amounts that were several times the offer by the defendant. In the era of mediation he prides himself on obtaining settlements that approximate or are higher than the projected verdict.
Other Outstanding Achievements:
- In addition to a successful law practice Mr. Rundlett is nationally ranked as a masters and seniors track athlete, specializing in the 100, 200 and 400 meter dash. He has won medals in the National Senior Games, the National Corporate Track Meet, the State Games of America, and the Huntsman World Senior Games. He has been the state champion in his age group for the sprints in several different years.
He is also the president of a murder mystery company for which he writes, produces, directs, and is a lead player in corporate and social events.
