Attorney Andrew D. Alpert, a managing partner with Alpert Schreyer, LLC, is one of the leading DUI attorneys in Maryland and Washington DC. Mr. Alpert is a former prosecutor with  specific training in DUI/DWI law. He is one of the few attorneys in both Maryland and Washington DC who is a Certified NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Test Instructor. He is also a personal injury and wrongful death attorney.

Mr. Alpert's work has earned him a reputation as a diligent, highly-skilled, aggressive criminal defense attorney. He has successfully defended individuals in Maryland DUI/DWI and motor vehicle manslaughter cases, including many high-profile DUI defense cases. He has also been featured on national television giving his legal opinion on high-profile criminal cases.

Mr. Alpert is a sustaining member of the National College for DUI Defense, as conducted at Harvard University where he receives advanced training in DUI/DWI defense law. He also serves on the board of directors of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association, and is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice (formerly the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association), the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and The National Trial Lawyers.
