Donna Rismiller is the founder of Rismiller Law Group, LLC, located in Rockville, Maryland. Ms. Rismiller handles family law, civil litigation, and criminal defense matters, with a particular emphasis in cases involving domestic violence. She is certified as a Collaborative Divorce Attorney and frequently appointed by the courts to act as a Best Interest Attorney for children in highly contested cases. She received her law degree from Georgetown University and her undergraduate degree, in Economics, from University of Maryland (cum laude). Ms. Rismiller has twice been appointed by the Montgomery County Executive to serve as the attorney member for the Montgomery County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council and she is the Chair of the Eudcation and Outreach Committee. She is a founding board member and current Vice President for the Montgomery County Family Justice Center Foundation and a former member of the American Inns of Court.
