Elliott A. Alman is an attorney practicing for more than 30 years in the areas of family law and domestic relations. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and virtually all federal courts in those jurisdictions. Mr. Alman has maintained his own private practice since 1982. Elliott A. Alman received his B.A. from the City University of New York, his M.A. from the State University of New York at Albany, and his J.D. from the Catholic University of America Law School. He was elected Chair of the Family Law Section of the American Association for Justice/Association of Trial Lawyers of America for 2009-2010. He is also a member of the ABA, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland, and the Bar Associations of the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Alman has appeared on television in the Metropolitan Washington, DC/Maryland area, has published articles in national legal magazines, and contributed to a professional book. He believes in aggressively protecting the rights of his clients and currently practices with his son Matthew D. Alman.
