Attorney James Greenan is a managing principal attorney at McNamee, Hosea, Jernigan, Kim, Greenan & Lynch, P.A., in Greenbelt and Annapolis, Maryland.

Included on the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Maryland and Washington Super Lawyers lists, he devotes his practice to bankruptcy law, debtor and creditor law, corporate law and federal civil litigation.

Mr. Greenan has been practicing law for more than 40 years. Earning his B.S. from the University of Maryland in 1966, he went on to receive his J.D. at Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, District of Columbia three years later.

Mr. Greenan's has been awarded a Top Bankruptcy Attorney title in the Washingtonian Magazine for the past four years, as well as recognition as a 2011 Top Attorney in the Washington D.C. metro area by the American Registry.

Among his many professional associations, Mr. Greenan served as a member, director and the president of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the District of Maryland in 2010. He is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is a former chairman of the Bankruptcy committee on Prince George's County Bar Association.
