Kathleen Dumais concentrates in the area of family law. She handles complex divorce and custody cases and often serves as a court appointed best interest attorney for children in custody disputes. A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Kathleen has been acknowledged for her outstanding work in the field by Bar Associations and consumer and business publications. Further, as a complement to her professional pursuits, Kathleen has fashioned an equally formidable career in public service as a Member of the Maryland House of Delegates. Elected for the first time in 2002, she currently sits on the House Judiciary Committee and serves as the Vice Chair of that sitting Committee.
