Lon Engel is the managing partner of Engel & Engel, P.A., a Baltimore-based litigation firm practicing across the state and country. Engel’s litigation practice focuses on personal injury, professional malpractice, and qui tam litigation under the Federal False Claims Act. These areas of practice take Engel all over the country; he’s conducted investigations and/or handled cases in approximately 27 states. Engel’s extensive litigation experience and ethical conduct has earned him an AV-rating by Martindale-Hubbell, and has fostered the continued growth of his firm, which is going into its 62nd year.
Engel is a member of the Maryland, Washington D.C., and Florida bars, as well as multiple Federal Bars, and the 4th Circuit and Supreme courts. He earned his B.S. from The George Washington University and his J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Engel’s involvement with the community extends beyond the services he and his firm provide to clients. He is also active in a number of philanthropic organizations and community businesses, including Boys Scouts of America, Days of Taste, (an organization educating underserved elementary students about healthy eating and sustainable farming), the AIWF and a community bank.
