• Mr. Haeger also is a proud graduate of Max Gardner’s Bankruptcy Boot Camp (2006), an intensive four-day program for bankruptcy practitioners that arms its graduates with Max Gardner’s secrets for success in defeating the unjust and powerful, such as bottom feeding debt buyers and the all-too-corrupt mortgage industry (you know, the one that nearly destroyed the world in 2008). All graduates of Max’s Bankruptcy Bootcamp are members of a vibrant network of similarly minded consumer advocates who share their experiences with each other every day on the internet, including their daily discoveries of creditor misbehavior, enabling each member to fight effectively against their client’s well heeled and secretive corporate adversaries.  Mr. Haeger has very impressive academic credentials, having received his Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of California at Berkeley in 1980, where he was also honored by his election to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Haeger received his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1983, where he was honored as the recipient of the Prentice-Hall Student Award in Taxation and the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitution Law in his first year of law school, and,  upon his graduation, he received the U.S. Law Week Award and he was elected to membership in the McAuliffe Honor Society.
