Zhia L. Shepardson is Of Counsel to the law firm of Rismiller Law Group, LLC and practices in the areas of Family Law, Estate Planning and Business Planning. Zhia is also an adjunct law professor at Stevenson University. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2004 and is licensed to practice law in both Maryland (2004) and the District of Columbia (2006). Zhia has been named as a Rising Star in Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine and was also featured as a guest on the television show: Law School for the Public. She is also regularly appointed by the Courts to represent children in complex custody cases and clients in need.  Zhia is also trained as a mediator and settlement conference facilitator.
