Javier F. Flores is an associate with Cooley Manion Jones LLP, where his practice focuses on civil litigation, including products liability, food borne illness and toxic torts litigation. Prior to joining CMJ, Javier was an associate with a boutique litigation firm in Boston representing a diverse clientele in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, as well as a public defender with the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services in the Children and Family Law Division, where he successfully tried several cases involving parents' custodial rights to their children. Javier is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New York, the State of Connecticut, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Defense Lawyers Association, where he serves on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Associates Division. Javier received his B.A. from Kenyon College in 2003, and his J.D. with Honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2006, where he was an Executive Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal.
