Attorney Jodi M. Petrucelli brings diverse and extensive experience in personal injury law, including complex cases involving product liability, construction site accidents, premises liability and medical malpractice, with a particular emphasis on sexual misconduct and professional abuse. With broad and practical knowledge in civil law, she also represents clients in claims involving minority shareholders, accounting malpractice, insurance disputes and defamation.
As a strategic and aggressive advocate for her clients, Ms. Petrucelli takes the time to fully evaluate and investigate every angle of every case. Taking a comprehensive approach gives her leverage and offers an advantage to her clients, whether seeking negotiation and settlement or in pursuing trial. With forward-thinking capabilities and foresight that comes with experience, she is able to present both the immediate and long-term ramifications of an injury or accident.
Ms. Petrucelli is an active participant in her local and professional communities and has taken on a wide range of leadership roles, including the Council of Women of Boston College. She is a past chair of the Women Trial Lawyers’ Caucus and the Medical Negligence Committee at the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (MATA), where she currently serves on the Board of Governors and Executive Committee. As co-chair of the State Legislative Committee, for many years she worked with the state legislature to develop and implement current legislation.
Previously, Ms. Petrucelli served six years on the Civil Litigation Section at the Massachusetts Bar Association and is a frequent faculty panelist at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) and other venues. She has been a speaker at the Association of Legal Administrators in 2010 and was selected as a Best Lawyer and featured in Boston's Best Lawyers publication.
