Verdicts and Settlements:

• I obtained a settlement of $18,250,000 for a corporate client after winning a partial final award of liability in proceedings before an Arbitrator appointed by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. The Arbitrator found that the defendant wrongfully terminated an agreement with our client pursuant to which it was granted an exclusive right to create and operate a a stolen vehicle recovery system in the People's Republic of China. The settlement was reached before the damages phase of the arbitration commenced. * I successfully argued summary judgment and won an award of $2,940,000 for our client, a museum, against its former president, who had stolen assets of the museum by means of a sophisticated, fraudulent scheme. * After two successful jury trials, I won for our clients numerous verdicts and/or judgments, (the largest of which was $3,878,548), for negligence, fraud or Chapter 93A against two law firms, the largest real estate brokerage firm in the country, and a real estate developer. * I obtained an excellent settlement for the members of a family in a dispute involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty in connection with real estate holdings, various limited liability companies, limited partnerships and foreign corporations valued at approximately $20 million.
