Marianne C. LeBlanc, is a principal attorney at Sugarman and Sugarman, P.C., concentrating her practice on serious personal injury litigation, including premises liability, medical malpractice, liquor liability and other complex cases. With an extensive background handling trials, Ms. LeBlanc is recognized as a leader in Boston for her proven record of success. She is committed to providing sound counsel, advocacy and in making a difference for her clients and the community.

Representative casework includes the recovery of significant settlements in medical malpractice cases involving obstetrics, misread mammogram, liver transplant and wrongful death, laparoscopic surgery injury, failure to diagnose and hearing loss of a newborn. In addition to her successful record in medical malpractice, she also handles a wide range of complex injury cases, and is prepared to take on any negligent individual or entity responsible for injury or wrongful death.

As a dedicated member of her professional community, Marianne is a member and leader of professional organizations. She is currently the Chair of the Women's Caucus of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and was elected State Delegate for Massachusetts to AAJ. She is a past president of both the Women’s Bar Foundation and the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, and she chaired the Civil Litigation Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association from 2001 to 2002. In addition to her participation in these organizations, she has published numerous articles and presents frequently at MCLE and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Ms. Leblanc has received the Weidmann & Wysocki Award, was a panelist at the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, and was selected for inclusion in the New England Super Lawyers 2010 and Massachusetts Super Lawyers 2010 in Boston Magazine.
