Maureen E. Curran opened her own practice in 2005, the Law Office of Maureen E. Curran LLC, after being a trial attorney in two Boston firms for 14 years. Her practice is concentrated on trust and estate litigation. She handles cases involving will contests, undue influence, competency issues, breach of fiduciary duty related to wills and trusts, contested accounts and guardianships. She also serves as a court-appointed guardian ad litem. She graduated from Merrimack College (summa cum laude) in 1988 and from Boston College Law School in 1991. Prior to her graduation, Ms. Curran had been a court reporter for almost 20 years. Ms. Curran has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association Probate Council for the past three years and co-chairs its Probate Litigation Practice Group.
