After graduating from Holy Cross (2000) and Harvard Law School (2003), I joined the trial department of the Boston office of an international law firm. From 2003 to 2009 I concentrated my practice on commercial litigation, including complex commercial disputes, intellectual property, and toxic torts. Drawing on the experience I developed as a legal intern at the US Attorneys Office, I soon began focusing on criminal defense. I represented individuals and corporations targeted by large-scale government investigations in everything from organized crime to pharmaceutical compliance. In 2009 I fulfilled my life-long dream of opening my own practice in my hometown of Worcester focusing on criminal defense, personal injury and business litigation. I have tried a number of state court criminal cases, including OUI's, violent crimes, and sexual assault. Most recently, I represented a police officer charged with rape and assault and battery in Worcester Superior Court. In addition to my private cases, I have also been certified to accept appointed state court criminal cases through CPCS. I am a member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Cross Lawyer's Association, and the Worcester County, Boston, and Women's Bar Associations. I am admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Massachusetts, as well as the Federal Circuit.
