Attorney Stephen K. Sugarman is a leading civil litigation and personal injury attorney with extensive experience in the complex areas of medical malpractice, product liability, motor vehicle injury, construction site accidents, explosions, fires, and general liability. He is recognized in Boston as a leading attorney for his outstanding record of service and results.
Mr. Sugarman is an active member of numerous professional and community organizations, and has served on civil litigation, trial and administration of justice committees. Representative cases include recovery of a significant settlement for a union tunnel worker who was injured on the job, a major settlement in a product liability claim against a negligent transportation and bus manufacturer that resulted in the wrongful death of four middle school students. He also successfully pursued a complex medical malpractice claim against a doctor and nurse midwife for negligent use of Pitocin during labor. Mr. Sugarman also handles cases involving industrial plant explosions, faulty design and collision.
