Tara M. Swartz represents employees and students in all phases of litigation, including in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, mediation, arbitration, and appeals. Ms. Swartz’s practice concentrates on claims arising in the workplace and at educational institutions.  Her employment practice includes a wide range of cases, such as discrimination and retaliation, sexual harassment, violations of the Family and Medical Leave, other state and federal statutory actions, and employment contract and tort claims. She is well versed in state and federal civil service and the federal EEO process.  In the education context, Ms. Swartz concentrates on claims of wrongful dismissal and discrimination, including working with students and institutions to develop and implement reasonable accommodation plans. 

Ms. Swartz is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (BA, BS), where she was a full-scholarship athlete on the Women's Gymnastics Team, and Northeastern University School of Law (JD).
